Training is expensive. When we take time to train employees who then quit, it gets VERY expensive. Many employees quit because they don't excel quickly enough to feel valued by their supervisors and managers. Or, they don't feel engaged because without being given higher levels of work, "busy" work is shoved on them. This situation can lead to less engagement and productivity. Imagine this: what if, on their first day on the job, new hires felt as if they were learning quickly and contributing right away? How do you think that would make them feel? How do you think that would make their supervisors and trainers feel? Listen to this inspiring episode with Shawn Volland and start to envision how hiring him might help you sustain high performing employees while bringing new hires "up to speed" more quickly than ever before.
