We just wrapped up the mid-year 15 day Attitude Challenge and I hope it helped you either stay focused on your goals or get focused on your goals. Listening to the podcast is great for audio learners, but it is getting the book and completing every action assignment that can literally create a shift in your life.
The key is to pick up the book and read it! Recently two different people let me know they purchased the book, which is a nice first step, but when I asked, “Have you starting reading it and completing the action assignments?” both replied, “no”. After 15 years of training that content, I know it is powerful, but not so much so that it will help you master positive habits simply by sitting on a table in your house!
Guess what? I saw an article last week in which Tony Robbins was quoted talking about the importance of “priming”; that’s right, Tony’s current focus on priming aligns with Tip #13 in my book. According to Tony, people pay $1 Million for individual coaching with him and there is a two year waiting list. That information made me feel pretty good about the $14.99 price for my book with content that has already helped thousands of people.
This podcast is sponsored my book, “LIVE IT! Mastering Positive Attitude Habits, 15 Practical Tips for Managing Your Mindset,” available on Amazon. Your purchase of the book for yourself or as a gift funds the production of this podcast. If you find the content in the podcast useful, I appreciate you showing support by purchasing my books.
I saw on facebook it was Color Book day this week, so maybe we raised some money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley through the purchase of my color book, “When I Think About How I Feel.” I’ll have to check my books sales stats to check activity this week.
In this episode I encourage you to broaden your view with 3 leadership perspectives. On the front line, many individual contributors are focused on this question: “How does everything affect me?” In leadership, you must strive to see today and the future from three different points of view:
These perspectives are encouraged in the training I facilitate, “Your Leadership Journey,” and I’m excited to share them with you today because I think these perspectives come with experience, but don’t necessarily come naturally to everyone.

My focus is training supervisors and managers, or front line employees who have the goal to promote to leadership some day. The time to start behaving like a leader is before you fill a leadership position. The information, tools, and resources shared in this podcast are designed to help you reach your highest potential in your career. I taught college level Business Communication and Employee Readiness courses for 15 years. Employees and students tell me my courses change their lives for the better, and my evaluations consistently rate me as an engaged and motivational speaker. I decided to produce a podcast in the effort to support a broader audience of people in higher levels of job satisfaction and productivity, as well as encourage people to find jobs for which they are a good fit.
